Delete your account

TruWage works without an account. If you signed in with a Cashout account to back up your checks, here is how to delete it.

Delete it here

Sign in with the email and password of the Cashout account you use with TruWage. The account is deleted right away.

This deletes the account and everything synced to it, in TruWage and in Cashout. It cannot be undone. Your password is used once to sign in and is not stored.

From the app

  1. Open TruWage and go to Settings.
  2. Tap Account, then Delete account.
  3. Type DELETE to confirm, then tap Delete forever.

The same option is in the Cashout app under its settings, because it is the same account.

By email

If you no longer know the password and cannot reset it, email NorseHorse@norsehor.se from the address you signed up with and ask us to delete the account. We confirm by replying to that address, then delete it within 30 days.

What gets deleted

The account and everything synced to it: saved checks and jobs backed up from TruWage, and the jobs, shifts, tips, expenses, pay stubs, bills, tax setup and other data you keep in Cashout. Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.

Checks saved on your phone are not on our servers, so they stay until you delete them in the app or remove the app.

What we keep

Nothing from the account. Server logs that may contain your IP address are rotated and deleted on their normal short schedule.
