Net pay is your take-home amount. For a server paid $2.13 an hour, a $0.00 check is common and often correct, because tax on a week of reported tips is withheld from a small cash wage.
When your wages are too small to cover the Social Security and Medicare tax on your tips, the employer reports the uncollected part on your W-2 (box 12, codes A and B) instead of withholding it.
A low check is not the problem by itself. What matters is whether each line is right: hours, rate, tips and every deduction. The paycheck checker goes through them for you.
